- I am an experienced SME, VC and technology/innovation manager with industrial, financial, commercial, and engineering skills. I have worked in technology and service sectors, corporate finance and hands-on funds at an international level. I am familiar with technical, industrial and investment issues and am an experienced investor and director. I have been
involved in UK, US, and European companies as director, adviser and investor.
I have a technical and commercial background and can undertake start-ups, turnarounds, corporate venturing and technology commercialisation as well as negotiating company development, research, business partnerships, corporate finance, M&A and shareholder exits (and entry).
I am an experienced investment manager, with fund-raising and investment expertise on an international level, having worked as a partner in three UK VC funds, having co-managed a listed investment holding company and having negotiated the formation, structuring, management and flotation of a mass privatization programme in Eastern Europe. I hold a number of non-executive directorships; have acted as a director, chairman of a number of emerging businesses, including two NASDAQ companies. I help launch and develop eco-commercial businesses, and manage/support a large hands-on portfolio of companies at sub £10M t/o levels. My activities have been supported by Lord Sainsbury’s Gatsby Trust, the University of Exeter and a number of investors.
